Anna began her dance training at Ann’s Studio of Dance at the age of three years old. She grew up in the Huntsville dance world, where she began competing at the age of 9, assisting at the age of 13, teaching at the age of 16, and finally opening Soles Dance Center at the age of 24. She gives all credit to Ms. Ann for providing herself with such a great love for both the art and the community of dance.

In 2009, Anna graduated summa cum laude as a Finance major and Computer Science minor from the University of Alabama. She was active in many honor societies, student organizations, and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. Upon graduation, Anna worked as a contract specialist for the United States Army until 2017. Around Huntsville, Anna has been involved with organizations such as the Junior League of Huntsville, the Rotaract Club of Huntsville, The Happy Soles Project, The C.A.R.E Center, Merrimack Hall's Dance Your Dreams Program, and the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce. Anna and Soles Dance Center were nominated through the Chamber of Commerce for the 2019 Woman Owned Business of the Year.

Anna’s love of entrepreneurship, dance, and her Soles community have driven her to a pattern of continuous learning through programs and mentors such as Dance Teacher Summit, Entreleadership, Jim Rohn, and Tony Robbins. Anna considers Soles one of the best things that has ever happened to her. She loves inspiring kids to work hard, watching them reach new goals, and seeing her love of dance mirrored in her students. Her main priority is to provide kids with a happy and safe place to become that absolute best dancer and human that they can be.

Ms. Anna is the proud mom to Tibby and Harrison Ward. Her and her husband, Bryan, enjoy the perfect chaos that defines their happy family of four.
